To celebrate English Tourism Week, Damian joined others at the East Hampshire Tourist Information Centre's Open Day, and met representatives from many of the local visitor attractions.
The wide range of exhibitors included some of the district's most well known tourist spots, including the Jane Austen Museum, the Watercress Line, Queen Elizabeth Country Park, Hollycombe Steam Fair, Chawton House Library, Birdworld, Butser Ancient Farm, South Downs National Park and Gilbert White's.
Others included Grayshott Pottery, Langrish Hotel, Pheonix Arts Theatre, the Petersfield Museum, Alton Chamber of Commerce, Two Hoots Camping, Petersfield Theatre Group, Winton Players and Life in Petersfield magazine.
Damian said:
"We're very lucky in East Hampshire to have such an array of brilliant places to visit and things to do; there really is something for everyone and all ages, and right on our doorstep."
