Backing business to create jobs has been a key part of the Conservative plan to get the economy back on track. Since its launch in April last year, 2500 employers in East Hampshire, and 1.1 million UK wide, have benefited from the Employment Allowance which provides up to £2000 off an employer’s National Insurance bill. The impact of measures like this and broader government support for business has been profound - since 2010, business have created over 2 million new jobs. That is 2 million more people with the pride and satisfaction of employment and security of a regular wage.
