Job Details:
Damian is seeking an empathetic individual with a strong public service ethos to assist him with constituent casework.
Key responsibilities:
- dealing with a large volume of individual casework for constituents;
- organising and attending surgeries with Damian.
The successful candidate will be adept at communicating by phone and in writing. They will be responsible for ensuring casework is progressed in a proactive manner. The role will involve gathering information to assist in resolving cases and liaison with various third parties (central and local government, government agencies, etc.). Accurate case records will need to be kept in line with data protection legislation.
This is primarily a work-from-home role. Applicants must live in or near the East Hampshire constituency. A driving licence is likely to be beneficial as there will be occasional travel within the constituency.
Pay will be dependent on experience (including the possibility of pay within IPSA’s Senior Caseworker range).
The role can be full- or part-time (minimum 24 hours per week).
