Damian Hinds has welcomed the announcement of £19,000 funding for repairs from the Listed Place of Worship Rood Repair Fund for the Church of the Holy Rood in Holybourne.
Damian said:
"I'm delighted by this news. The Church of the Holy Rood is an important part of the community in Holybourne and these repairs will ensure that it is well-preserved for generations to come.
"As George Obsorne said: 'Whether it's our country's future or these important buildings, the sun is shining and we're starting to fix the roof'!".
