HMRC has confirmed that the Job Retention Scheme will be open for submissions from the 20th April

The Government announced a £750 million funding package for UK charities.

The Department of Health and Social Care has issued guidance for those who provide unpaid care to friends or family.

The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy has published new guidance on social distancing in the workplace.

HMRC has announced that parents can still claim Child Benefit without having to register their child’s birth first.

 

The Government has launched a new £1.3million emergency fund to support local tourism organisations throughout the coronavirus outbreak.

The Hampshire Coronavirus Helpline - Hantshelp4vunerable – will remain fully operational over the upcoming bank holiday weekend.

East Hampshire District Council is asking people not to light bonfires during this period when so many people are at home

From this week, the Hampshire Domestic Abuse Service is trialling a Virtual Drop-in Service. They can contact a worker through Facebook  
From Monday 6 April 2020 victims of domestic abuse that cannot access a telephone, due to isolating with a perpetrator, will be able to contact a worker via messenger  between 9.30am – 11.30am, 3.00-5.00pm, 6.00-8.00pm Monday – Friday. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Southerndas/
