In the debate #Yesterday"In"Parliament, Damian outlined why he would be supporting the new lockdown regulations, saying:
"While we get the vaccination programme accelerated we need these curtailments, difficult as they are, to protect the NHS and ensure it is still there for us all. I also called for a plan for how to support sectors like pubs, hotels, 'non-essential' retail, and events, not just through the lockdown, but when we come out of it. And that we need to be planning now for a great national effort to support children and young people."
