Damian chaired a DCMS Select Committee roundtable with some local East Hampshire sports clubs earlier this week, including Petersfield Karate, Grayshott Tennis, Petersfield RFC, South Downs Taekwondo, Petersfield Squash, Alton Hockey (and also Alton Town FC who hoped to join). This was held to help inform the committee's ‘Sport in our Communities’ inquiry. Volunteers were once again highlighted as being at the heart of sport and keeping everyone active, particularly through difficult times, and it was clear that there was much positivity and determination in grassroots sports.
