Visit to the Phoenix Theatre and Arts Centre

Went on a fantastic visit to the Phoenix Theatre and Arts Centre in Bordon today to meet Rob Allerston (director) and Eric Clifford (chairman). We discussed future plans for the centre following the recent Arts Council funding, as well as the broad programme of events they host for the local community. Another blow to hospitality?

In last week’s column, I mentioned a debate I recently attended on the hospitality sector.  This felt like an important debate to be part of for several of reasons.    Hospitality is a major contributor to the UK’s economy and jobs, which makes the government’s decision to omit i
