New Directions

The New Directions 2023 event took place at Alton College on Friday 27th October. More details can be found here.

If you've not heard about New Directions, it's an annual employment/volunteering/training fair to support East Hants residents that are looking to secure a new job, retrain, seek advice about setting up a business or would like to join a local voluntary organisation.  The event has a particular focus on the over 50s; encouraging those who may have stepped away from the jobs market for personal, health or other reasons to take that first step back into employment or training.

Lots of large local employers, recruitment firms and volunteering groups attend each year.  Details of the 2024 event will be released by East Hants District Council later this year.
