Debate on the Non Domestic Rating (Multipliers and Private Schools) Bill - Remaining Stages (part 2)

In the debate, Damian continued to express his opposition to the principle of taxing education.  

Speaking at the time, Damian said: "On top of VAT and NI, many independent schools will also be facing business rates for the first time.  We tried to amend the legislation to exempt some schools, or at least to delay it, but the government is intent on steamrollering on."
