Damian released the following statement today:
Following a court ruling earlier this month, TG Jones, which operates Alton Post Office from its store, is undergoing a Restructuring Plan that could affect a number of its stores. At present, it is still not known whether this will affect Alton Post Office.
I know this uncertainty will be concerning for Altonians who rely on Post Office services here. I am in regular contact with Post Office representatives and they have assured me they will keep me informed of any developments. Should there be changes affecting Alton, I will seek to ensure that constituents are updated as soon as possible.
